A Jazzy Experience

February 23, 2011, the Lindenwold Jazz Combo, took a trip to the Ivy League Princeton University. Princeton was holding its third high school Jazz festival. The gathering consisted of the LHS Jazz Combo Newark Select Jazz band, and Cherry Hill select Jazz combo, each band being given 20 minutes to play and another 20 of Dr. Anthony D.J. Branker sharing his knowledge of Jazz to the budding musicians of the bands.
To sum up the night, I was put into a state of shock as so much information was given in each bands performance, and we were all lucky enough to have been given a private performance of the Princeton Select Jazz band's original songs. Tony Branker

  1. How was Cherry Hill's group. Does it combine East and West. I ask because one day I'd like my son to get involved. He's very good at clarinet and piano, and he's in the 6th grade.
